The first thing on my list isn't even for me but it is something potentially very expensive that in a rash moment I promised to the 10 year old....
a puppy, oh I know what was I thinking? Dogs are expensive, and lets face it no matter how many times she swears she will walk it twice a day I'm the one that's going to end up walking it, feeding it, telling it to get off the furniture etc etc. On the upside, we might make this a birthday present so I can put it off for another 9 months.
I have lusted after a kitchenaid mixer for years and years, but at $900 there have always been far more important things to spend our money on. I KNOW I would use this so much and it would last and last, so I think I might start saving up to get one for my birthday...45 weeks away so $20 a week doesn't seem so bad, but I also want...
* A sewing machine
* 4-6 bertoia chairs and a new (to me at any rate) dining table
* To recover my sofa
* A nice rug for the living room
* A magazine subscription....
when I have some time I'm going to sit down and prioritise my wishes and figure out how long realistically it will take for me to get at least the top 3 and go from there.
